Črno-beli mladinski film Kekec iz leta 1951 je prvi slovenski film, ki je dobil mednarodno nagrado. Nastal je po pripovedki Kekec nad samotnim breznom Josipa Vandota. Sledila sta mu še 2 filma (1963 in 1968). Kekec ima neprecenljivo vrednost slovenske kulturne dediščine in filmske umetnosti. Pred kratkim je bil restavriran.
Zgodba sledi pogumnemu Kekcu, ki se odloči odkriti Bedanca, moža, ki se ga vsi bojijo zaradi njegove hudobe, in ga prisili, da za vedno zapusti njihove kraje.🎬

✨ Open-air cinema in front of the Cultural Centre in Stara Fužina offers a unique film experience under the stars. In this special setting, one of the most iconic films of Slovenian and Yugoslav cinema, Kekec will be screened. 🌌
The black-and-white youth film Kekec from 1951 is the first Slovenian film to win an international award. Based on the story Kekec Above the Lonely Abyss by Josip Vandot, it was followed by two sequels (1963 and 1968). Kekec is a priceless part of Slovenian cultural heritage and cinematic art. It has recently been restored.
The story follows brave young Kekec, who sets out to confront Bedanec, a man feared by all for his cruelty, and force him to leave their land forever.🎬
